The DESIGN FUTURES LEXICON presents a set of thematic learning activities, futures design devices and instances of their use. The LEXICON is designed to assist design students and designer researchers to engage productively and critically with how language may work in shaping futures design.
The ESSENTIALS contains a set of specially designed devices for master’s and doctoral design students to take up and experiment with in studies on futures design. The devices are prompts and provocations to engage critical making and thinking in shaping futures design. They are arranged by theme and linked to UNITS.
