Yue Zou has been engaged in sustainable design practice and research for some years, specializing in interdisciplinary design in sustainable development. He is interested in how to create meaningful experience through interdisciplinary design to change people’s action, feel and thought so that people can have a long-term sustainable lifestyle. Practical research methods include product, interaction and service design. He is doing practice and research both in Norway and China and had research and design experience in the United States, Africa, and other countries, along with exhibitions about sustainability in Milan and London. He received his master’s degree in design at Hunan University and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design successively. He began his Ph.D. at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design in 2017 with focus on transformation design.
